Blanche Herring Scharf is a former teacher of emotionally and intellectually challenged youngsters in Rockland County, New York. She lives on the shores of Jackson Creek in Deltaville, Virginia or on her catamaran Anagyri with her husband Captain Len and their precious Siamese, Damian.

     A strong believer in grace and energy, she enjoys all means of expression to understand and share her perceptions and her blessings. Approaching the “wise woman” stage of life has led her to new and interesting explorations. She paints found objects, glassware and furniture under the company name Garden House Art.
