Sharon Slaughter

     Sharon lives in Mathews County. In the past she wrote a column, Country Roads. With Jan (Fast) she came up with the Animal Antics Feature thanks to Titus, the cat, and the Titus/chicken story. Other interests include her family, including their history, reading and learning, animal rescue (dogs & cats), wildlife at my door. She was an early pioneer of Home Schooling in Virginia. She contributes to Chesapeake Style because she enjoys learning about other people. “Writing the Country Roads feature gave me the perfect reason to meet new people. I hope to enrich others as they always enrich me. My ‘Dream’ is to return to school and take courses in art and law.”
