Americans are uniting.
Flags are everywhere.
Patriotic songs ring out,
Our country’s deep in prayer.

Folks stand in line for hours
At blood drives everywhere.
Americans are eager
To show how much they care.

God bless our many rescuers
As they strain their eyes to see.
Breathing in the dusty fumes and
Searching through debris

Dear Lord, protect our children
Our family and friends.
We all must do our part to make
This Nation safe again!
