Maze of a lifetime
By Chelly & Steve Scala

Nestled in the Southern Maryland countryside near Bryantown is the maze of a lifetime. A wonder of farm grown fields custom cut for exploring by kids of all ages await all who visit   Zekiah Farms during maze time. The invitation is to experience and discover “Agri-Fun”, while walking through a fresh cut series of trails among standing corn and sorghum. Two separate mazes are available, with one less challenging for those youngsters who want to take on the adventure themselves. Hayrides, farm animals, a straw pit, seasonal vegetables and refreshments are available. Youngsters can make a scarecrow or a Halloween pumpkin. Special packages are available for schools or youth groups. The cost is $7 per person and the mazes are open from October 1 through November 6, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to dusk, each Saturday and Sunday. Access can be arranged by appointment on Mondays through Fridays. Call (240) 216-4065  or fax Zekiah Farms at (301)-579-2635.
