Apple Crisp
By Florence Jenkins Muse

Simply peel and slice apples in a rectangle medium Pyrex® dish (about half full). Mix one cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon. baking powder (try to use Hearth Club®. You can get it across from Oldhams Post Office in Northern Neck) and one egg with a fork making a crumb mix. Sprinkle it over apples. Melt 1/2 stick of margarine and dribble over mix. Bake 350 for 30 minutes. and WOW. Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip®. Now you already know that every good cook preheats oven. Right?
