Chocolate Coconut Dessert

Make ahead & freeze
1 cup semi sweet chocolate pieces 
1 (13 oz. ) can evaporated milk
1 package (10 1/2 oz.) 5 cups of marshmallows 
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut 
6 tablespoons butter 
2 cups rice krispie cereal crushed
1 cup chopped walnuts 
1/2 gallon brick of ice cream Vanilla. 
Directions :In a sauce pan melt the chocolate in the evaporated milk , bring to a boil , boil gently uncovered for 4 minutes or until thickened stirring constantly .Add marshmallows heat and stir until melted Chill. In a skillet cook and stir the coconut in the butter until lightly browned stir in cereal and nuts .Spread 3 cups of the cereal mixture in the bottom of a 13x9x2 inch pan. Cut the ice cream in half length wise and then horizontally into 12 pieces making a total of 24 pieces. Arrange half the ice cream over the cereal mixture, spread with 1/2 of the chocolate mixture Repeat layers top with cereal mixture Freeze till firm or cut off what’s to be served
