I’m not sure what it is
Flitting ephemerally from real to not
Something just quite hidden by the dark
Forgotten emotions
Lost songs flit soundlessly through my mind
Something I barely remember that I completely forgot
Was that you there once?
What spirit is this that haunts my only dreams?
Wonderful memories in this deepest dark
Something terrifyingly joyful in its nature
Something I long to remember
That feeling once felt by this that I am
What I became whence I forgot
Was that you there in the dark?
